Open both apps
Connect the iPhone charger, name the outlet and start a trace. Keep both apps active and reachable for a current observation.
iPhone + Apple Watch · Preparing for release
A small directory for labels you want to remember. Name an outlet on iPhone, then save its label and a breaker number on your Watch after a charging observation.
SwitchTrace is preparing for its first App Store release. Version 0.1.0 (1) is not yet publicly available. This page will link to the app when it is released.
Connect the iPhone charger, name the outlet and start a trace. Keep both apps active and reachable for a current observation.
After a fresh charging-loss observation, choose a number from 1 to 200 with the Digital Crown and save the label.
Saved notes stay in the Watch directory. Removing one asks you to confirm the selected entry.
A phone's charging state does not verify a breaker mapping or prove a circuit is off. Charger removal, battery charging management and delayed updates can affect the report. SwitchTrace is not electrical test equipment.
Keep both apps active and reachable for a current observation. Reopen both apps when the reading is stale or unavailable. Never use SwitchTrace to decide whether wiring is safe to touch.
No app account, advertising, developer telemetry service or cloud note sync. Notes are stored locally on your Watch. The phone sends its charging observation to the paired Watch through Apple's framework. Apple-managed device backups may include your notes.
Designed for iPhone with iOS 17 or later and a compatible paired Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later.
