PhotoHush Privacy Policy
PhotoHush is designed so that inspecting and cleaning a photo does not require sending it to us—or to any app-owned server.
Data we collect
PhotoHush does not collect personal data. The app has no account system, analytics, advertising, tracking technology, or third-party SDK that collects information. We do not receive your photos, metadata, usage history, device identifiers, or location.
How photo processing works
Photos you choose are inspected and processed locally on your device. PhotoHush creates new cleaned copies and does not overwrite originals. A copy leaves the app only when you explicitly share it or save it to Photos.
Photos, Files, and iCloud
PhotoHush uses Apple’s system Photos picker and Files picker. If you choose an item stored only in iCloud or another file provider, that system provider may download it under its own privacy terms. PhotoHush does not control or receive that provider traffic.
Local storage and retention
Imported working files, generated private copies, and job receipts can remain inside the app’s private sandbox on your device. Removing the app removes its sandbox. Exported copies remain wherever you chose to save or share them.
Network access
PhotoHush does not operate an application backend and does not make app-owned network requests. System services such as iCloud may use a network connection when you select a cloud-only file.
Children’s privacy
Because PhotoHush does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected on this page and identified by a revised effective date. The current App Store listing will link to the latest policy.
